SPDNS Training Centre provides a range of courses to meet the Common Induction Standards (Skills for Care 2005) and Childrens Induction Standards (Children's Workforce Development Council 2006).

These courses consist of:

Mandatory subject requirements such as Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Food Hygiene, Principles of Care (GSCC Codes of Practice), Infection Control, Safeguarding Adults, Safeguarding Children, Medication Adminstration etc.
