SPDNS Nurse Care CIC is a social enterprise organisation, established in 1979 which has recently been restructured as a Community Interest Company (CIC) providing services which directly benefit the local community.  The organisation is governed by the Board of Directors who are responsible for ensuring that the organisation delivers services in line with it’s published Community Interest Statement.  This statement is reviewed and regulated annually by the CIC Regulator at Companies House.

SPDNS Nurse Care CIC provides health and social care and support services through a contract to Local Authorities to people in their own homes, or customers may choose to pay for their own care either by accessing Direct Payments from the local authority, or by funding their own care. Some customers choose to utilise their Attendance Allowance or Disability Living Allowance to pay for their care needs.
